I cry every time this song is played. ❤ It took me ten years to conceive my son. I've always felt like I had a special promise to keep to God for letting me have him.

Back in 1999, my father spent months trying to pick the PERFECT song for our father-daughter wedding dance. Mere HOURS before we left for the church, he finally came to me with a smile, saying “I got it!” like it had been in the back of his mind all along and was just that simple. Even though a guy was singing (and his version had come first) , as soon as I heard those first three words, I just held up a hand and tried not to mess up my makeup! What he didn’t realize was that back in college, I had heard THIS version and always thought it’d be the one I’d choose for MY child when they got married. I had forgotten all about it until that VERY PERFECT moment. Like father, like daughter! 🥹🥰

This song reminded me of when I was young and I was by passed for a job and I felt like crap and I just thought of this song and replaced Regina Belle with The Almighty God 🙏 saying baby come to me, cos I love you inspite of the world rejecting you and it stuck in my head ever since anytime I hear this song I just envisage the Almighty God 🙏 telling the Angels clear the pathway and bring the boy to me cos I will always be your father. Thank you holy spirit for putting that thought in my head that day cos it encouraged me never to give up in spite of the trials and tribulations of the world, thank you so much our father Yeshua for your sacrifice I really really felt unloved that day but this song just popped into my head saying baby come to me and I will give you rest thank you thank you Almighty Yeshua, thank you so much ❤. I still cry cos I really felt my world had ended that day being threatened with eviction and I really wanted that job, however it is the child of the Almighty God 🙏 will face many obstacles but the Almighty God 🙏 will deliver him from them all, I got a better job instead. And I still use this song anytime am feeling down with the Almighty God 🙏 saying baby come to me, may the Almighty God 🙏 bless you all and please come to Yeshua he is waiting.
